  1. Katey and Josephine cushions

Here is the vintage floral collection designed and hand made by Katey and Josephine (their website isn’t quite up and running yet but I’ll keep you posted).  I wanted all of them and it was a pleasure to shoot them.  They even made us a delicious lunch which made the shoot even better!

  2. Asparagus Bundles

I’m pretty exhausted after a long day shooting but here’s some lovely asparagus – it’s almost the end of the season I think so you’d better be quick if you want some and don’t forget to smother them in butter. x

  3. It’s all about the pies

As a former southerner I was uneducated when it came to the joy of pies.  I have now had my pie education and appreciate them as much more than just an accompaniment to peas.  This ones steak and kidney which would have been my preferred choice pre-vegetarian!  I hope this one influences tonights supper (oops, I mean ‘tea’).

  4. Blueberry Tuesday

Here are a couple of shots I managed to tag onto the end of a shoot last week.  We were in a lovely location and I spied this beautiful french dresser.  Shot and styled by myself, I ask: are blueberries the most photogenic of the fruits?  Hmm…something to ponder anyway.

  5. Freshly Baked Scones

I almost rushed this shot in my excitement to eat these scones.  They smelled so good and were still a little warm.  I’m glad I did capture them looking freshly baked before we smothered them in butter and jam.  Lesson learnt, never skip breakfast before a food shoot.

  6. Tiny Fried Eggs

Believe it or not this is the first egg I’ve ever fried, albeit a tiny quails egg.  It was easier than I thought it would be as I’m no Nigella in the kitchen.  I hope it inspires your breakfast this weekend, although you’ll probably need more than one.
